Within the 5 year of management, ensure the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems and internal freshwater ecosystems, and foster the sustainable use of Laguna Azul forests through ecologically responsible management practices.
Promote sustainable management of all types of Laguna Azul forests, halt deforestation, restore degraded ecosystems and increase efforts to combat soil erosion.
By the third year of management, end illegal deforestation, combat the trafficking of protected species of wild flora and fauna and cancel on its own land both the demand and supply of products of illegal origin from the natural resources of Laguna Azul.
Take urgent and significant measures to integrate natural areas and defend the biodiversity of Laguna Azul, protecting endangered species and ensuring the conservation of endemic species. In particular, the project of a visiting botanical garden of medicinal plants dedicated to ancestral plants and masters of Amazonian vegetalism implies the care of natural resources, the conservation of biodiversity, and the prevention of the extinction of threatened species.
