What is the Master Plant Diet?
The Master Plant Diet is an ancestral Amazonian practice used to connect with the Divine through plants. This tradition allows individuals to receive the power of Guidance and learn the healing skills of Amazonian plants.
  • Access and Environment
Traditionally, this practice is sacred and accessible only to a select few, such as the Master-Healer and the Tribe Chief. The diet is conducted in an individual tambo, fully immersed in nature, with no contact with other people. This setting ensures that all focus is directed inward, assisted by the Master Plant.
  • Construction of the Tambo
The Tambo must harmonize with nature. No electricity or modern bathrooms are used, and waste is returned to the earth, facilitating a deep connection with the natural environment.
  • Nutrition During the Diet
Dietary intake depends on the selected Plant. In traditional practice, Bocachico, a river fish grilled with a plantain and without spices, is consumed. This meal is eaten once a day along with the Plant infusion.
  • Experience and Process
During the diet, time is spent listening to the sounds of the forest, water, and birds, meditating with the Plant, and connecting with universal information.
  • Duration and Types of Diet
Diets can be curative, shamanic learning, or spiritual. Duration varies according to the purpose, Plant, and health condition. A minimum of 10 days is recommended to feel the Plant's effects and 21 days to receive profound teachings.
Benefits of Master Plants
Master Plants offer multiple benefits: they heal the Body, Mind, and Spirit, enhance the ability to sense and understand one's own and others' emotional states, strengthen the body against illnesses, improve concentration, and stabilize emotions. Some also help develop special talents and healing abilities.
To protect and preserve Master Plants and ancestral knowledge, we promote the "Plant a Tree" project, ensuring that these practices and knowledge continue to be part of humanity.
